Happens too often. Never know when something will let go. I try to be very mindful of what is holding car up and how far it can move if...
Not saying I don't ever make a dumb move. I scared myself once when duster still had old rubber on. Looking at something underneath. Had my nose a couple inches away from a dry rotted tire up on ramp that had deep cracks everywhere.
Got out of there quick. They never did let go, but ya just don't want to bet against it.

I should have learned right then to pay more attention to where I put my hands 
. With another incident at the asphalt plant I could have been very easily down to just a thumb and pinky on my right hand. That time I took off my glove muttering "Please be there. Please be there." Scared the crap out of the guy I was assisting.

I did learn one thing from those hand incidents. Doctor stiches up a different incident on my thumb. "I want you to soak that in peroxide every day for 15 minutes." he says. "Are we worried about infection?" I says. "Trust me" he says. I go back in a week later to get the stitches out. Doctor and I were just talking or so I thought. "You can go now. I'm done." I look at my thumb and the stitches are gone. "That's why you soaked it. It eats all the little scabs and they zip right out."
Once we were doing a no knock search warrant entry on a house.
I was holding the flashbang and had pulled the pin holding the spoon. Done it many times.
It malfunction and went off in my hand. I couldn't see chit, but remember grabbing my hand with my other hand and squeezing and counting fingers. They were all there.
Other than a 50% hearing loss I was ok.

I have 8 jack stands. 4 tall and 4 short. There is no excuse not to use them. On the drive on hoist i have one air jack with locks.
Hoist has safety locks so i think im playing it safe.
A friend lost his brother to a car falling off a bumper jack.
Can never be to safe. Its rushing the job is where most get into trouble.

Chevy is done, next is ranger that needs idle air control.
I cleaned it yesterday,and it started to howl. Almost as loud as a horn. Crazy.
It got quiet after some driving but have never had that happen before.

The Tax forms were kind to me. Even though I made $63 more in '18, a bank account that actually pays interest, my refund is $7 bigger.

sounds like way to much planning. I have gone as far as drawing mine out on a sheet of paper. Just to get an idea what fits with plant size and so I know what seeds I put where. I do need to decide what the future of the hops will be. Either need more structure to grow on, thin them out or get rid of them.

Hops is on my list to start this year. Along with a ton of other annuals like rasberries and blackberries. some fruit trees.

ive been contemplating those as well. I dont eat them but my wife and kids love them.
