You sure Harmonic balancer is correct for your application? That is what the lower pulley bolts to....Big block, small block or all only go on one way?

There it is! An industrial engine! That is why it is different...Yes, it was still on the engine when it came out. 1978 RV engine.
Big block non a/c pulleys are the same as 1970 and up small block non a/c pulleys.
However 67 to 69 la small blocks used a different set up.

Yes. There were several things different. Different, more heavy duty, balancer. Heads are much different..So the RV engines had different from pulley and balancer set up????

What size spark plug do they use?The heads are standard 452's
Then those are standard industrial heads. The small plug is used on industrial engines. The regular sized plugs are auto engines. 11/16 I think. The small plug, 14mm I believe. Autolite 26 or 23...
Agree. It will work.I have E3 plugs for it waiting new in boxes. I think I will simply open up 1 hole in the bolt pattern. I searched pulleys on FABO for sale and many factory pulleys had 1 oval hole. Not sure why.
Agree. It will work.
Difference between 440-1 & 440-3?I wonder if there was a running change somewhere. I was worries about an internal balance versus an external balance issue. That being said, I didnt see any weights or anything.
I always told the difference in yards by the plugs. The small were a 440-3So either 440-1 or -3 should be cast or marked on block?
Not 100% as it was a junkyard and laying loose, but was laying in a 1967 Newport big block car so I assumed I guess...do the small blocks have a set of close holes for specific orientation?

So apparently I can’t type when I quote a message for some reason. Early LA crank pullies were different than the Big blocks. And the poly pullies are as well. If you have an RV 440, the later ones, there were some differences but if you want, I can look tomorrow, I should have the pulley you need laying around somewheres
