Duster De-ruster
So far, pressure washer repair is mostly a fail. Motor is running great on fresh oil and a cleaned up plug. BUT, it won't build any pressure. I got an oring kit and spring and changed what was obviously damaged. No go. Guess I will take the pump head off and verify if the wobble plate is right. If so a new head assembly should make it run like new. For now I think I will bury it in the garage or shed till Spring. Too many other things to do...
.) I think we put his gasket on the glass first with no sealer. Then put rope caulk in the outer groove and ran the rope around that. IIRC we wrapped it so the ends were in the bottom center. So you pull rope from inside the car as someone puts pressure on the outside of glass. Putting the more difficult bottom corners in first. As for lub, I actually like Windex. Not as good as far as letting it slide, but will evaporate completely and not leave a soaf or oil residue that would prevent you from adding any sealer if it leaked.
