Made me think of some of the odd stuff we used to mine out of the river at the rock farm
Railroading bits and pieces, there was a narrow gauge rail system out there in the early 20th century. Cap and ball pistol I found stuck on the magnet once . Big chunk of a CJ2 Jeep in the crusher . "Just throw it in the river Cletus. It'll git buried!"

For those lucky enough to have been at Carlisle, how was the Mr. Norms tribute? Was there a good turnout? A couple of videos taken and posted on YT, it looks like only a few. Just curious.

I see. Was hoping for a wide but could use lag screws to a 2 x 12.
Well next lemme see what i can dig out of the my archives about the structure. Don't want to have to clear all the ivey just to see.
I told him not to let the ivy grow into everything. It's one reason I probably wont do the repairs.
We did nice job, very fair pricing. Dont take care of it. Well actions speak louder the words.

We did nice job
1998 Scanned a few phots. I need to look in file for more.
This is what I was thinking. It wasn't tied to gether like a standard corner because of its history.

I know we put blocking in to tie the joists together. But the front beam has to support the corner column on the corner.

Also wrote in the final invoice not to use latex. Will charge at least double for stripping /prepping latex.
But will do what I can to get it shored up.
Assuming insurance company doesn't insist on having their people do it.

Another bird netting rescue just now. He was quite happy when I put him in the creek. Never knew the frogs ventured that far up from the pond/creek
