My buddy has one and it has been sitting for years. It needed a head gasket and he never got it fixed. So we agreed on a price of $300. But I want to see it first. I haven't seen it in years.
That’s what I paid for my polara….

OK I will start it and let @MOPARMITCH finish it.

So the guy next to me leaves friday and has two spots he says I can use the one next to me and some guy has the other to vend. OK cool. So some one has a bunch of stuff he puts on the tables left ther. Prob a few grand worth of stuff. And leaves. OK he is getting ready for Sat right. No one at all is there Sat. Tons of people want to buy stuff. Not ours No idea whos. OK left alone all day Sat on the tables. Some guy shows up late afternoon and asks me who to a HP manifold from the tables, All of it he bought and was dropped off Fri :wtf: He is pissed. Goes to mitch and I will let him finish it. Just frucked up. Why leave it alone and not picked up?
You forgot to tell everybody here that the guy called me a liar to my face. That was not a good thing for him to do

Ray and I both were busy with customers and apparently an older guy came next door with a trailer to pick up that stuff but he had a younger guy with him. So I think they asked Ray if he knew anything about the expensive exhaust manifold that was missing. So then the older guy sent the younger guy which was probably in his late thirties probably outweighed me by 40 lb or so and was half my age. At first I thought he was just a customer so I asked him if he needed anything. What's he looking for?. It goes on to ask me if I know anything about this missing exhaust manifold. I tell him I don't know. Three spots over from me. So we had a little small talk back and forth and then I asked him well. What do you want me to do? Then he said well I don't expect you to lie to me. So at that point I stood up and I was about 4 in taller than him, maybe older, but I asked him, are you calling me a liar?. He was a little dumbfounded but he had already done it. I proceeded to tell him that I don't need anything that he has or has had and that if he needed something from me, here I am. Well by now it's getting a little heated. And that basically I told him to get the F off of my spot. So he left with his tail between his legs. But we did see him later a row away watching us. No big deal. I don't think he wants any trouble with me. Lol

The mistake was leaving all of that stuff there unattended. Anyone could have walked off with it. The way it was left looked like the original person didn’t want to haul it all home and just left it on the tables. It’s their own fault. And then to accuse someone of lying is just plain nuts! :realcrazy: That is asking for trouble.

I had my own fight going on. Some guy came in and got smart with me because I was over the line by 6 inches. So I had to move all my stuff then move my van and trailer over the 6 inches. I was getting pi$$ed off because of the attitude. Then he comes in and parks an Aspen Road Runner and he was at least 5 feet from my stuff. The problem was the lines didn't match up right.

:wtf: :realcrazy: Sounds like he has a loose screw.

I can't believe some people and their rotten attitude. :elmer:

I have been going a lot of years and never had any kind of issue like this. And here was 2 in 2 days. Is it the crazy world in which we live or the heat?

I think a bit of both. Some people are just crabby and the heat doesn’t help. If they get upset about that stuff imagine how they handle bigger issues in their lives
