I prob over did my oil light/gauge. I made sure I used a pressure switch also so the ignition is off till I got at least 5psi going. Then a electro/mechanical guage. Hate oil hard lines ever since I had one blow in the car years ago.

Yep, thats a bad memory I bet, I had a heater line blow out in my old 52 checy..glad it wasn't up to temp yet at the time.

Nothing really wrong with copper as long as you put a stress loop in the eng comp and behind the gauge.

No the sending units themselves. The new ones are all off 99% of the time. Have to find a pic hard to explain. Has to be a ton of threads on it.

I bought a small lathe when in Ohio. Took it back to my site and sold it within an hour and made $50
