I love the revolvers and lever guns. I had wanted an 1873 for a long time, but I didn't want to add another caliber to have to deal with stocking ammo for. Last year I bought an Uberti Cattleman in .357 and it's one of my favorites. I also got a Rossi 92 in .357 for a space cowboy. Now I just have to save up for the Ranger Point furniture.

We've been looking at Consumer Cellular ourselves, as Verizon just keeps going up, and up, and up....for less, and less, and less.

I'd be curious to hear what you think about after you get settled-in a bit.
Yeah we have high hopes. Daughter helped with the switch and keeping our numbers and all. She heard additional lines @ $20 each so she's interested too.

Yeah. Problem is out here in the sticks, if you want service, it’s Verizon or nobody.
 
Funny, after I told Frontier I was canceling service, they said Well, we can lower your internet bill to $19.99 a month. :wtf:

Well, why am I paying $131 now :BangHead:.......................no thanks, lower payment with still garbage service.

Flattered I am, but seriously you need to look at Jerry Mikulec (sp?) And yes he is also from right here down the road in Arkansas! And don’t forget Bill Wilson is also right down the road! O and we have a Remington, Walther, and SIG factories here as well as my personal favorite Nighthawk. We are a very pro 2A state!

We had Comcast at out old place in the 'burbs....

Funny thing: Comcast had a monopoly on HS internet at our old place, and the fastest they offered was 250 Mbps. This was about 15 minutes out of Minneapolis, in a pretty nice suburb. When we moved to "the sticks" about 3 years ago, we were surprised to learn we can get much faster internet for less money out here.

You may (or may not) like 'em, but for this reason alone I hate Comcast.
Oh I absolutely hate Comcast with a passion. But as you say, they have a monopoly in this area. It’s them or AT&T and I won’t go back to them. AT&T nearly destroyed my credit and took me a year to get it all fixed back in 2013. They had a rogue agent go in and created over 60 internet accounts to my address to fill his quota to get a performance bonus. I only knew of one. Dude set it up to email the bills to his personal email.

Because I only signed up for one, and was only paying on one, the others were going unpaid. So they kept shutting me off and sending me to collections and reporting to the bureaus. Every month I was disputing it with proof of payment. No one could figure out what was going on.

Finally a manager discovered the ploy after about 7 months of going back and forth and finally calling the CEO complaint line in Texas to get someone to look at it. 3 months later, all the stuff they’d reported finally cleared my credit up and they offered me an entire year free of service but I declined.
 

We put a pause on our home price reduction as we had a showing yesterday, not holding my breath, husband liked it but wife couldn't make it to showing and he says she needs to see it, ya think? Anyway, I'm on the late side getting in, have a Great Day All!

Yup. We stopped playing those games, and when we switch that's going to be our response as well.

Same with our Mediacom. We paid a fortune for ever. Slow and bad service. Lauren will move out soon and we will switch to city owned fiber.

Was down hard the last two days hope to get back into it today. Been pretty rough post Carlisle for some reason.

Comcast customer service sucks thru the roof. And they have reliability problems. And it’s three times the AT&T amount.

I’ve looked into starlink but that cost is too high for me.
