Twice the weight. Twice the nails.I know three is the max. I just figured extra insulation. Or is my thinking wrong? Usually is.

I know. I'm farming it out had a quote of 13 k. No tear off. I think that a bit high.YOU should not be up on the roof
I prefer strip, and replace. Let's you fix any sheathing damage, get a quality vapor barrier and flashing installed if you don't have a ridge vent already.
Nope everything is electric. Just oil heat. You have Gas off the street?
Go metal roofI know three is the max. I just figured extra insulation. Or is my thinking wrong? Usually is.
The house doesn't have a lot of ridges or valleys does it?I know. I'm farming it out had a quote of 13 k. No tear off. I think that a bit high.
Many of the Hispanics are being deported. We have Amish and Mennonite crews here that do a lot of roofing. They do nice work and are hard workers. No standing around playing on their phones.Gotta be difficult for contractors to get crews these days

You got that right. Most of the Mexicans around here either work at or own Mexican restaurants, or assemble these metal buildings. You better be ready to bust butt if you work with them. Many of the Hispanics are being deported. We have Amish and Mennonite crews here that do a lot of roofing. He told me to wait . He will come out and do it.
That's one thing about Vietnam here. Not many residences have hot water. Of course the hotels do and the resorts do but the normal home does not. But there's a solution for that also. The local electric appliance store sells these small instant hot water heaters that you mount on the wall in the bathroom and hook it into the water supply. Works great. No more cold showers for me.I changed my hot water heater to on demand.
I originally did part of Dad's trailer breaking tab's off to get it flat. Tear down is certainly the better way. New won't last as long over old. Not sure if any warranty doing it that way. While a have you here. I need new roof
Only one layer. Should I go over it . Or do a tear down?
Amish did my 20 x 40 garage. Brought it out in two sections. Many of the Hispanics are being deported. We have Amish and Mennonite crews here that do a lot of roofing. They do nice work and are hard workers. No standing around playing on their phones.![]()

Very pleased how well Seahawks played. I TT a Broncos fan about their QB situation he said their backup QB is very good and he hopes they play Patriots as doesn’t think they can beat TexansWell, Rich. You must me pretty happy with Seattle crushing the 49rs.

I feel bad for Denver fan, Nix breaking his foot/ankle. Never heard of their backup quarterback. The drop -off to second string is really steep.
I went with the raised ridge, heavy gauge. I was very happy with it.I love mine.
Kitty actually did that when we had measurable snow a few years ago. lol Me? Naw. lolIt's coming down pretty good. We want to see a video of you making a snow angel before it melts.
