Ted, Travis, Dennis, and I met up at Trav's house for a tasting. Trav. Had this lined up but we got sidetracked. The 4 Rose's Barrel Picks are out and we had a bunch. Followed up with a 140+ proof JD Coy Hill. It was quite a night

I am slumming today Dos Equis and pizza. Not exactly top shelf in either category! But wholesome, zero fuss and yummy! Jodi left this morning again for Arkansas so just me n Hemi again!

Elmer T for the win, but you know I am not a rye guy! They are just to “hot” for me!
The Driftless Hy Vee pick was stunning. Bold peach on the nose and apricot on the palate along with other spices. Apricot jam on 8 grain toast. Ted is now looking for a bottle. I wish I had bought another or two.

Ordered pizza and wings. Delivery was an hour and a half so picked it up. They used to have A big selection of individual bottles. Didn’t see that, but found a pack of this in the cooler. Very tasty 10.8abv black water.

So last night TMM baited me into doing a bit of tasting. Needless to say balance of evening was less than productive. Knob Creek 9 for the win!
