I stopped at 7-11 on the way home from the track yesterday. Left my truck & trailer (with my Duster on it) on the side and walked up to the front of the building.
There were two kids, like 16-ish sitting there on their bicycles.
"Nice car", one says.
"Thanks", I say.
"My uncle had one of those - like a 70 or 71. You know, the one with the split front bumper?"
"Hmmmm... What?", I say.
"That's a Camaro, right? Like a 78?"
Now, keep in mind that I'm wearing a Mancini racing t-shirt, that has a big Mopar logo on the front and "Mopar For Life" in huge letters on the back. Plus I'm wearing a Plymouth hat.
"No, genius, it's a Duster", I tell him.
"Duster? That was Pontiac's version of the Camaro, right?", he says.
"Yep, you got it", I say as I go into the store.
Stupid kids.
