Any suggestions for something different for our Super Bowl party.
So far we have
Wings, smoked, BBQ, and buffalo
Potato skins
Meat filled empanada
Vegi tray with dip
Cheese ball
Chilli
Crab fritters
Kettle corn.
Not sure what others are bringing, just trying to find something different for this year.
If you have a recipe, post it for us,
Thanks

That does sound like a good addition. Thanks

Sounds like a plan. I have some crab meat

Avocado tacos

8 Taco shells, warmed
2 1/2 cups-rotisserie chicken, warmed removed from bone and shredded
1 can Chopped green chiles
1 Avocado peeled and diced
1/2 cup fresco cheese crumbled
Sriracha or hot sauce for the brave. Salsa for the timid tummies.

Enjoy:thumbsup:

Sounds great. I have to go back to the store.

Stuffed Jalapeños
Cut strips of chicken breast pound flat
Place chicken in bowl with tablespoon of veggie oil and your favorite spicy rub.
I cut the peppers in half and fill with cream cheese.
Piece of the chicken
Strip of Colby cheese
Cap off with a peel of onion
Wrap with half piece bacon
Smoke em on the grill

I forgot to add mozzarella sticks, my daughters favorite

Thanks Ed, sounds really good. I normally mix cream cheese with jack cheese and wrap with bacon. I'll try this recipe tomorrow

I wanna go to your house .

With 2 in college and 1 married, everytime I have received a text today, one of them have invited someone else. I think we are around 25 now. Happy to have a large den to watch the game.
Thanks for the recipes and ideas. I always like something different.

Halve jalapeno peppers longways. Core them out, fill with cheddar, then lay a strip of bacon on top. Bake at 375 for about 20 minutes. Try to halve them so the cheese won't cook out.

I do the jalapeno poppers in the smoker with several chicken wings. Turns out really nice. Gives the poppers a little more of a mellow taste.

At my lady friends house in Lynchburg for the game and will just be about 4 of us total but just got chicken chili fired up.
2 cans of white chili beans( bush's are my preference)
1 cooked rotisserie chicken , separate meat from bone and dice
1 can diced tomatoes
Diced green chilies
1 can chicken broth
Small can(10oz.) cream of chicken soup
1to 2 diced jalapeños

I cook in crock pot( 30 minutes on high then let her simmer on low till time to serve, stir every hour)so we can fix and forget. Plan on being moderately inebriated by kickoff.lol

Sounds like your gonna have a happy well fed group.

That chicken chilli sounds great. We always have a great time watching the Super Bowl. It is more fun if the team we pull for are playing. Panthers, Steelers, Bengal's. Of course there will be some Cowboy and Redskin fans here as well. I just hope it is a good game, and not a blow out by either team.
Hope everyone has their great day. Enjoy the food and the game.
