Don't know what size k frames in the car know. How can I distinguish what frame is init know.
I'm I better of getting a 67 A body k frame?

No reason to swap k-frames no matter what the engine was it came with, just get the aftermarket motor mount set...

That seems like the easiest way . it could be a 6 cylinder k frame or a small block v
and with the correct engine mounts I could use either. Thanks for help.

If it's an original small block K-frame, these mounts from Transdapt work, 80 bucks at Summit.
They also make mounts for slant 6 K-frame.

Something I like to see is having the original K frame removed, sandblasted and repaired. Being almost 60 years old it’s had plenty of abuse and stress so more than likely it will have cracks and dents that need to be repaired and the 440 will stress it even more.
I have yet to sandblast one that didn’t have cracks and broken spot welds.

Also, cut a hole in the k-frame in order to weld the front of the LCA pivot shaft to the k-frame, it's only welded to the k-frame on the rear, and you cannot weld the front from the outside.

Fyi: the reinforcement kits include a washer for the one side of the LCA mount, but not the other.

Not that another washer would help anyway.
It's the other side that is hanging free inside the k-frame not welded to anything.

I welded it up on the inside now the LCA mounting is secure front and rear.

Great idea, I'll be doing that myself now.
