Three on the tree?

-
I'm 68 and it's always been 3 on the tree. On another note, we always called pushbutton Torqueflite's.....Typeflite's or Typewriter transmissions.
Come to thnk of it, his car was a 70 RR.
Back in the early '90s I picked up a 73 Cuda roller, it was a 340 3 on the floor car.
I had a few years ago, a '72 Duster slant and 3 on the floor, pretty common for that I bet/

I love racing 3 on the trees... especially 6 cylinder cars. I had a '66 Buick Special with a V6 3 on the tree. I could shift it so fast it about sounded like an automatic, scratching a nice patch hitting 2nd... lol

I know it posted before that my 1st job had plenty work vans. All but one v was 3 on tree. One was a Dodge with granny low and a slant six

My current three on the tree has a whole 103 hp (or, it might have when new, lol)
Quick shifting is not gonna make a bunch of difference..... but it's still quicker than my three at the knee. .(no synchro's, either direction).

I insured my car as a Plymouth. Unfortunately, somebody smart at the insurance company noticed the vin. RM21M9Axxxxxx.
Didn't even try to surcharge.....
Cancelled!
Ridiculous. But that's how they did it.

Yes they are and the most expensive color to paint
Which is why fire engines are red. Back in the day, all fire brigades were volunteer, and they were very competitive. They began painting their stuff red as a show of pride and to demonstrate that their brigade could afford the best of the best.

Yea but, why did they not paint flames on the side of the fire wagon!!?? Early horse drawn fire race wagons!!???/

I don't blame him.
What were you doing driving his car when you were 3 years old?
I was playing pretend driving which was my favorite activity back then and it was parked in reverse and that car didn't need a key if it wasn't turned all the way back , well i turned the key switch [ no key] and it started , went through the yard and across the road and *** first in the ditch . 235 straight 6 3 on the tree . lol .

We were going on vacation in my 01 Dakota
Went into advance auto parts for ??
Kid was in the truck and it was running
Wife walks around the front of the truck
Kid puts it in drive and truck hits the wall
Missed the wife by inches
Boy would that ruin a vacation
