I just saw this on Facebook

No problem, i have an extra Speedmaster intake that will set right on top of those TF heads. 10% cheaper than the TF intake, hit me up!

I saw something recently about 3d printed molds for casting.

Really speeds up the process for proof of concept.

I talked to Edelbrock the other day about Victor 340’s..
They weren't even on the schedule( as the guy put it) to be produced.
He said once they get on the schedule usually 2 or 3 months….so likely not gonna be available this racing season

Lost foam casting is 1980’s technology. Best suited for long production run of millions of castings. 3D printing sand molds is new tech. More suited to one off parts though. Takes a good while to print and a boatload of leadin time computer modeling.

Waited a long time to get mine.
I have a brand new trickflow intake and a brand new airgap.
Just sitting on the shelf.

You're John's Brother, right. I still have the B5 Swinger all these years later. I'm making good progress on the 408 I'm building for her. My hold up is my Molnar crank. I have my TF 190's and the TF Single plane intake. I'm also waiting for my Jim "Racer" Brown solid roller cam. Ask John to call me, or PM me so I can call him. Paul.

I´m so happy to get the last Set of TF 240 Heads from 440Source in March 2021!
After that time there was no chance getting a set of these....

I think you'll see this problem get worse before it gets better.

If this persists, the used market will get really hot and if it gets bad enough you might just see more sheet metal intakes under hoods.

Can you imagine a $1000 Eddy intake or more? Maybe I should go ahead and buy a stock used 340 factory intake and sell mine.

On the summit site, Instead of there being some fictitious delivery date a few months down the road...... you now get this instead:

I wonder how long it will be before SM releases the “China Heat” version.

Edelbrock SV pricing is now over $500, and the Victor 340 is over $450.
I wonder if the price will creep up even higher when they’re actually available.

3D print a manifold....it can be done if you have a large enough bed.
Bigrep STUDIO: Professional 3D Printer - German engineering

material can be 120C rated, may require a heat insulator off the head, like a Delrin spacer. Sheet metal intakes CAN BE DONE.

As for China repopping it, I dont think it will happen as it was never produced so the CAD files are not floating around out there in the various foundries to be sold? I dont think they will design one by themselves.
