U.S. Mags Indy U101 Polished Wheels

-
I wish, I love the classics
(Don't even need to be polished)

$129 a pop, yikes! This style is available out there used, would just need a professional polish...Nice classic style, little steep.

The problem buying them old/ used is that it's hard to find them with a backspace that works. This in part is why "back then" so many rigs ended up all jacked up with air shocks and long shackles........the damn wheels the dealers carried didn't fit right!!!! And the tire / wheel dealers were not particularly good at impressing "us" to order the correct ones.

The guy (friend of mine) who bought my 70RR new didn't go for that nuts. These wheels were on my 70 when I bought it from him in 71, and were on it when I sold it This is one of the few old terrible photos I have, faded and dirty. This was taken either 73 or 74, and by the way, the car had a 340 swapped in by then

The car with my friend, the original owner, nearly new. He bought it a purpose with stealies so he would not lose much when adding alloy wheels

I already have them on my Summit wishlist. My current wheels are the US Mag 14"x7", 5x4" and the tire selection is rather slim with 14" wheels. =(

A great looking wheel for a old school look.

My dad has a set of Cragar's SBP on his Demon, and like typical Cragar fashion they are beginning to peel only 6 years old. Was hoping to see a set of these SBP ones installed. Looking at 15x8 all around.

On another note the American Racing version of the Ansen Sprint style they offer in 4" sbp look like crap and I don't know who designed those, but they look nothing like old school Ansen's that I've seen... but these look right.

Did someone say 60s street machine???
I know, I know...some members don't appreciate this stance but then again I grew up the the 60s (flower child, hippy, rock n roll, LSD, wild child, WildWood Weed, Hendrix, Iron Butterfly, Zeppelin, Tiny Tim, Wild Thing, THE BLOB, etc, etc!!!)

That picture up top is not of a 4" b/c wheel. With 4" b/c the lug nuts practically touch the center cap. Not sure if they change anything else from the one shown in the photo. Only reason I mention this is because, for example, on Cragars the design is quite different between the 4" b/c and 4.50" b/c spokes.

is someone looking for some old school us indy 14''dia x7''width x 4''bolt circle . have a set just from the polish shop , full face polish and slot sanded smooth for polishing or painting , got a few dings from hanging out for years . was hoping to trade this set for some early americans 5 spoke torq thurst 14'' x 6 3/4'' in the same 4''bolt pattern , got two now (t70 , t70r), would like a set up of there. would post pics if i was in the know how , but i'm better with mopars then this machine .

Got em last summer. Fronts are 15x5's and rears are 15x8's. I had to modify the center caps to fit.

I just changed from 4 window American mags to these 16"mags on my bantam. I think these are halibrand 2 piece sprint car wheels.
