Sweet car :glasses7:

Thanks. We put around 500 hours into it last year doing body, paint, and interior.

Not the best pic, buts its all I currently have. Going with Cragars on the front, so had the cover pulled back for a quick minute.

Here's mine. 65 Signet 200 with about 78000 miles. Stroked 340 to 372, 904, 4:30 gears, 3000 stall. Been driving it for 7 years like this and embarrassing bow ties and blue ovals. It does what it's supposed to. Oh and it's for sale to fund my current project.

I hope I can get my '65 200 looking that good.

It has the same interior. Seats are good, carpeting is good but stained, the headliner is fair but the door panels are toast.

some nice signets the last few posts.............i don't think i've ever seen any of them on here.................nice valiants dudes!!

Thanks! The slant six car shows a lot more effort than the '72, but the '72 was fun, too, because it was the first forced-induction car I had ever built and I did it without a "kit" of any kind, and did it alone. I learned a little bit building it, so when it came time to think about the blow-thru aspects of the slant six car, I wasn't completely "flying blind"... but, almost.

Never could have gotten to first base on the turbo project without Tom Wolfe (SHAKER223 on FABO) showing us the ropes and guiding these two newbies through the jungle of wrong parts...

I had LOTS of help, in a lot of different ways, building the turbo car... in fact, I'd say that I did less than half of the work on that car. My partner, Freddie, spent many hours working on it, and it shows.... I had nothing to do with cleaning it up from sitting in an open field for 15 years. for instance, nor did I TOUCH the header as it was being built... Freddie did all of that, the design and cut-and-try, himself! We did hire a welder to TIG it as Freddie has a de-fibrilator implanted in his chest and isn't supposed to be near an electric welder when it's doing its thing.

Hopefully, the slant six car will handily outrun the V8; that was our original intention, but we'll see... I can't wait to get them both to the strip at one time and run them off... The inline car is is a little over 600-pounds lighter...

I think it's going to take about fifteen pounds of boost in the leaning tower of power to show the V8 car the way home... The V8 car has 10-pounds of boost. And, 126 more cubic inches...

We'll see... :banghead:

I am the idiot in the "Doctor of Motors" white coat in the photo, below....

I got my 65 from my father in law last October, he had it since the early 80's and it sat in his garage with no gas tank almost the entire time. I have been working on her since October and just went out for my first drive today!

Wow, I don't think I ever seen pics of this car but I am in love, very classy look, love how the scoop looks too, makes me regret selling my twin snorkel now.......
