Coming along very nicely. What are the specs of the cam you are going to use?

Thanks mate, cant remember the cam specs off the top of my head, and I don't have it here with me now as I took it to my friends workshop earlier today, its nothing special, if I remember correctly its a thumpr cam I got it mainly to have some nice sound, the engine is stock but will have that cam, and nice manifold and carb, and nice exhaust.

Your making some great progress mate, and with the good weather on the way, she'll be done sooner than you think. Love the test panel in the back ground too, your next project ??

Hey Deecee, yeah apparently we are supposed to be having a nice weekend coming up, means I can also cut the grass lol, the beast in the background is my baby, its my 57 Savoy hardtop, I was working on that before I purchased the Val, I have already replaced the rusted floorpans, and trunk floor, just needs finishing off, I have also replaced the inner and outer sill panels and several other rusted out areas, once the Val is done ill get back into it, ill take my time on that one.

Hi mate,
Great progress.
Do you have any spare small bolt pattern valiant wheels laying around. I'm looking for a couple of 14" x 6" 5x4.0" for the front of my cuda.

Hi buddy, I only have the ones that were on my car, but at this stage I don't want to get rid of them as im not sure if I will need them for a short while once its on the road, they wouldn't be too hard to find would they? A lot of people swap their Val's to late model stud pattern so there should be plenty around.

I painted the dash today, pretty happy with the way it came out as it was not in the best condition.

That's an impressive shine for a dash mate, can't wait to see what you can do on the body, and get back to that other project.. :)

Hey all, haven't posted in a while as I have had some family issues, but on the upside I now have more time to work on my girl, yesterday I got a start on hiding the wiring, its my first attempt at doing this, ill be putting "P" clips in soon to run the wiring through. Also I have had some trouble with the high fill cracking in a few areas so I have been busy repairing all those areas, I pray its the last of it!

Hiding the wiring is a good move mate, my VC sedan has no wiring on the inner guards, and it makes a huge difference, nice to see it back on all 4's too.

thanks Deecee, yeah just need to get the calipers reconditioned now and can finish up the brakes.

Hey all, today I tidied up some front end wiring then installed the floor hump for the 4 speed, went a bit over board with the seam sealer, but better safe than sorry :)

That's a bugger mate, but looks like you knocked it out again, i know how you feel, it can be tiring doing it all your self, but well worth it in the end.

That's another step closer mate, and good to keep at it, even with weather around, i painted mine in the driveway, in winter on an overcast day, 2 years since paint went down and no problems let.. ;)

I love these aussie cars. I would kill to get my hands on of these.
