Needed new rubber for my triple axle.
Saw some decent load Es...great.
Called up the local store front. Didn't have that size, load range, or brand in stock. So asked if they can order them. Nope. Apparently Walmart can't order from Walmart.com. what's in the backroom is all they have. Whatever.
Go home. Jump on the computer. Tried to order them, well. Apparently, Walmart.com can't deliver them to a Walmart store. Wtf?.
Sigh. Alright. Ordered them and got them delivered. Called up local Walmart. Well, I can't "schedule" an appointment because they're not on a vehicle or trailer. They're considered "carry ins" and such cannot be scheduled in their books. I have to sit around with 24 loosies...yes, 12 old ones on rims, and 12 new ones...yeah, i had to use the other trailer to bring them all in, i couldn't get all of them in the back of an 8ft box......and wait for an opportunity???
At the same time, I'm killing my whole day, waiting to get these mounted. How am I supposed to setup an appointment if the old tires are so unsafe I can't drag the trailer down the road? I'm forced to be unsafe and cause an accident if I want to try and keep my day open? Seems an accident or tow truck call would still break me even on wasting a day? Assuming I don't kill someone. .. What? Trailer the trailer? Yeah. BS.
This isn't no TractorSupply to move grandmas lawnboy. Its a custom stretched 58ft goose-neck flatbed triple axle dually......they want that parked in their little oil change bay???
Am I really misunderstanding something or is the world this damn pathetic? Or should I just had avoided Walmart like its the bubonic plague???? The idea was to get free mounts and dismount. All i had to pay for was valve stems. I guess i kinda broke even?
/end rant.
