The 66 Valiant is a beauty.:colors:
Small Block !!! I don't know how to thank you and all the FABO members
here, I will see if our tv station will do a story on this if and when it all comes together.
This is so hart warming I can hardly stand it.

=D>=D>=D>=D>
I think what you guy's and gal's are looking to do for MEMIKE is a GREAT THING! When I finally read the outcome of the other dart I was heart broken myself just knowing Memike was not going to get the car and be able to show it the love and attention it needed. I can only imagine how Memike felt when he finally knew getting the little dart just wasn't going to happen.
Some of you have said you think Memike is the type of guy that would return the favor like the one he is going to possibly recieve! Well I think he already has,he has given people parts for free,he has helped people with questions they have asked and has made many of us laugh with some of his funny post he has made! And he really loves the OLD MOPAR "A" BODY CARS.

I say take up a collection for him for a car and if the car is less than what is collected then buy some needed parts for it with the leftover $$$ to make the car as nice as it can be for a real nice guy with a BIG heart. It certainly does not hurt to help people out every now and then! Especially someone that truly loves the hobby and how they would truly honor the gift and show it the deserved love and attention. In a way I am like MEMIKE!
I have always been a giver type of person myself also but have been on the receiving end of help before too throughout my life, I am also disabled due to a really bad heart attack some years back and. But I keep taking one step at a time and keep plugging along every day. I am not a RICH person but you can count me in for a little help count me in for $100.00. I will have to send a check or money order because I do not do the PAYPAL "CRAP" anymore due to some problems with them!
I also like the looks of the $2600.00 car, looks like it need less work to be REAL NICE little ride! but I will leave all that to you guy's.
Just get it set up where we can send the $$$ to so we can get it started and so MEMIKE can have and enjoy a nice little MOPAR "A" BODY to enjoy.
Personally it would do my old heart good just to see him get a little car and to see him post about it and the progress he makes on it, MEMIKE gets so EXCITED about the cars and parts and the dreams he has about doing a car the way he wants to do one. I say it is a great thing to make MEMIKES dream come true! God Bless all and I am ready to help out ! THE SOONER THE BETTER!

FABO Members, this is Treva, (MeMike's wife) I want to take the time to say thanks to everyone here. Not for the generous heart warming gift that you all are wanting to do for him, but for seeing Mike the way that I do. I have never met anyone quite like Mike. He has a big heart and would give away everything he owned and never give it a 2nd thought. He has helped people our entire married life and at times I've even gotten mad at him for giving away things that I knew he loved. He has had his heart broken so many times for helping others and then getting kicked in the teeth even by his own family (not bro Ken) I asked him once why he continued to let people hurt him and suggested he build walls so he wouldn't hurt so much. His response was "If I built walls to prevent from hurting, I wouldn't be able to love the way that I love". I think that statement says it all.

Anyway, you guys and gals are the best thing that has happen to Mike in a long time. You're his refuge, his best friends, his life. Each and everyone of you should consider yourself hero's. Believe it or not, I feel that you all have saved his life. He once was a very outgoing, social person but his disabilities had driven him into depression and loneliness, but you all have brought him back and for this I Thank You for just being the great people you ALL are!!

Treva

I'd like MeMike to confirm that Kutacando is your brother? Is this right?

Before I send money anywhere, or suggest anyone else do it, I just want to be sure where it's being sent. That's all.

I've talked Ramchrgr and like he said, he'll hold the car but he's had lots of interest in it so if we don't come up with the full amount in the time frame, he'll sell it to someone else. I think $4500 is quite a bit to come up, not sure we can do it. A smaller amount might be more realistic and that '66 DOES look pretty nice!

Treva, that was beautiful. We all appreciate your heartfelt thoughts and you got yourself a good man there. And from what Mike has told us, he's got himself a good woman as well. I can't wait for the posts to start coming in on what he's going to be doing with the car! Mike, I can't wait until you get it, assess it and tell us what your plans are going to be.

This news just in:

Redfastback is offering his wagon for the price that we're already raised to this point! Memike, want a non-running Valiant wagon?

http://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/showthread.php?t=34652

It's very nice of redfastback, but I think a running driving car is more what we're after and a wagon is a completely different ball game when it comes to restoration and "muscle car" image too, know what I mean?

if either of the other cars don't work out, my valiant wagon is a 63 like the unicorn that started all this. IF HE WANTS IT, the car can be his, the rest of the money can go toward a rebuilt head. yes you heard right.

I WILL DONATE THIS WAGON TO THE CAUSE. all we need is the transportation, which i remember reading earlier in this thread.

sorry 65s, i just bumped it from $195 to donation. that is if he likes wagons.........

Mike & Ken, I just sent $50 via Paypal. I sure would like to see everyone who can help out get there money in so that Small Block & memike could possibly pick it up this weekend. Man, that would be great!

Mike, is over at his brother Ken's house trying to settle down from all this excitement and saw this post, he asked that I confirm for him that Kutacando is his brother. His cell number is 870-897-1515 if you'd like to talk to him personally. Thanks again everyone. Treva

If they come out this way he can have my rebuilt pushbutton trans and 225 if needed or any other parts from the car if I still have it

Maybey I can help here.

FYI, Memike is 105% giver. Meaning he is not a very good receiver. It is easirer to give

than receive.

That out of the way.

I will be happy to administrate funds into my existing paypal account into a new savings account at my bank. I will back up all deposits with an exel spread sheet that all can see.

I say we keep banging it until he gets a CAR!
I will also help from this end with my friends and his!

I look foward to your thoughts.

Thank You
Sorry mispelled words my phone going crazy, multi tasking!

Count me in Ken. I'll be bringing CASH !! $100 + transportation to St. Louis or should i say 50 miles north of St. Louis

Just got off the phone with Ken, Memike's brother. Called to introduce myself and wish his brother the best as well as get instructions on how to donate money to the cause. As do many of you, I remember when I first joined FABO, Memike was one of the first to welcome me as well. Last but not least, here is a little quote that I have posted in my house that I think applies here: "You can easily judge the character of a man by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him". Memike although we have never spoke, I wish you the best and know that you will enjoy that MOPAR when you get it. Take care.

Well okay, sounds good. I'm in.

MeMike, I can't say I know you all that well either but life without a Mopar's gotta suck....and your little '63 was pretty nice, having it stolen just isn't right. I hope we can raise enough to buy you a Hemi Valiant!!

Bro Ken here he is on the phone with a fabo. And yes you nailed it!
He has always had a mopar in is younger years, many and was selling the idea of mapar to any ford or chevy guy still accepting their love for thier car.
But yes I truely believe you nailed it LIFE WITH_OUT A MOPAR IS A _ITCH!!
