I love the finish on those exhaust manifolds. clean, soooo clean.
Thanks! I used cast blast paint on them and it holds up extremely well
So I opened the box and guess what, the grill wasn't in the condition I expected.
Found a few more splits.
So I mixed up some JB and made some metal supports.

Hit it with some chrome paint
Finished paint on the surround and grill
Waiting on the parking light lens from Classic.

Found out the hard way I have a driveshaft that needs 1310 to 7260 u-joints. Dammit Jim!!! Oh well, easy enough to find but double the price as regular 7260s

Put the finishing touches on my new upholstery. The seat backs were fairly straightforward, the bench seat not so much. Ron the Technical guru at Legendary was a great help - with email and telephone support. Their website install videos were a big help too. Totally happy with the results, much better then I expected.
Can't put it back in the car yet though, going to replace my instrument cluster with a new dash panel and Speedhut gauges and I'll need all the room my tired old *** can get...

Made a stop at Advance Auto parts and picked up a new set of jack stands.
These suckers are 6-ton, which might be overkill, but what I was going for was the added height. These will adjust up to 24” high. I like to have as much room as possible when I’m working under the car.

That looks like it does the job. I didn’t think of that. Actually I think you’re setup might even be more stable at least visually it looks pretty solid compared to tall jackstands

Just went out there to start it up! It started so good I had to take it for a drive. Got stuck pulling out of my back alley garage. Wife and kids have me a little push. It's now in it's summer home out front!

Thanks. I'm not happy with those welds and will probably grind them off after I weld it from the other side.
