Last of the wheelwells cleaned out. Underbody and rear frame section wire brushed from the rear axle to the back end. Filthy work but progressing.

Look at the very top of the page. It's just under For Abodies Only header. There is a bar with "How to articles". Once you are in there look under "interior". There are 2 different member posting for column conversions.
Not much time today with an early Easter dinner. Mated the trans/converter/engine. Also replaced the shifter shaft seal and the small seal on the inner shaft itself thanks to dadsbee but didn't take pictures of that.
Got the tank, filler neck, and vent pipe installed.
I just ordered a new gas tank myself. The ironic part is that it was made in Canada but it was $70 less to order it from Rock Auto and pay their shipping than getting it from my buddy with an auto parts store at his cost.
Is it only me that finds their workspace looking like this? My excuse for my shoddy work I suppose!!
Sometimes my looks even worse. It creeps up on me and gets progressively worse until I take a day out to go through the whole thing...put away/throw away stuff (which might mean I forgot where I put it
), clean and store tools, vacuum the bench and floor, wash shop rags, etc., etc. I'm so proud of myself when I'm done, but then the "creep" starts a new cycle.
Last week, we had a rare break in our muggy, humid weather. Soooooo....

I feel your pain! I rebuilt 2 of my wife's old vacuum cleaners last month! Apparently when they go bad you can't just get a new one. We have 4 really good ones now!Not doing a damn thing on the car....
