Took a nasty, rusty, stuck master cylinder apart, cleaned it up, got it working and gave it a nice paint job

Not a damn thing! 2 daily vehicles and my rat rod are all broken. I don't dare even look at the Demon - it worked great when I drove it last and I want to keep it that way!!!
Tearing stuff apart, and assessing carnage on #6 intake and exhaust! Whatever this is, it happened Sunday at the drag strip. Made 2 passes, second one had misfiring off the line and ET was .8s slower than normal.

Taking a break from my 74 project. I've been working 3/4 hrs everyday for the past few weeks as well as doing some repairs on my van and fixing the plastic bumper on my 2013 Challenger in between.
There was to be an annual pretty decent well attended car show that was cancelled due to the weather.
They usually have it on Sunday in that case, this year for some reason they will not...bummer.
This afternoon I'll head to Tractor Supply and pick up a few missing nuts, bolts and washers I need...

I went to the last car show of the season today and I was surprised at the turnout, considering the threatening weather.
Here are some of the A bodies, and one B body.
Built a crappy shield to go on the front of my open trailer. Wanted something to protect the avatar's front end for its 1150 mile journey to its new home in Florida. Some old 2x4's and an old truck bed mat served well!

Have a safe trip
Began installing the dash harness. I got it in place and hooked up as much as I could without the dash being installed. I'm waiting on my instrument cluster to come back so I can finish.
Gotta figure out why I don't have a brake pedal. Pulled the car out of the garage to turn it around. Had to use the emergency brakes.
The stripes really do that car justice
I'm going out of town for the weekend this afternoon. I've been moving my welder around on a handtruck for years...what a frickin pain. I had some free time this morning before I pull out so put together a cart out of the base of a motorcycle lift and some scrap wood I picked out of my neighbors trash. Ironically, I picked the handtruck out of the same guys trash a few years back. Before all of that, I broke it down and carried it, which really sucked. This is much better. Later on I'll improve it with some onboard storage for misc welding gear.
Happy in its new home. Now time to put the street tires on and go burn some Florida fuel and "see what's out there" near me!
