What Are You Doing To/With Your Car Today?

Finally got out to the track on Friday! New personal best, but so much more potential there!

I wrapped up replacing my leaky, burnt up transmission in my Duster. Now has a rebuilt 904 with a TF-2 shift kit and 2200-2600 stall converter. I'm glad it's done! It still needs a little fine tuning, but what an improvement.

I see you used a late model transmission pan. I was going to use one so I could get a drain plug. What did you use for a filter extension?

Took the 'Cuda out for the first cruise on Saturday morning. On my way I passed a bar called Six Packs and I thought a picture was in order since I'm running a Six Pack in the 'Cuda

No extension. I just fill it all the way with the extra fluid.

As a 64, the extensions block the rear pump intake. I've thought about having one machined to accommodate the second one

Got one side rockers shimmed and adjusted. Repainted the engine with the intake setting on it. Found a little bit of primer splatter on the oil pan. Used a new rag with a dab of trans fluid cleaned it right off.

Fitted 15x10 with 4-7/8" back space on my Duster. Stock wheel well, stock fender lip. These will only be for my drag tires. Street tires will still be on 15x8.5 with a 4-7/8" back space. Both run 275-60-15. I love the look, but back seat passengers might be a problem with these ones.

You have a side shot of it?

No car work. I replaced the coil and cleaned the carb on an Echo leaf blower I picked from a neighbors trash.
Coil was $12 from Amazon. It took about 2 hours and runs like new...which are $170 at Home Depot.

Does you neighbor see you using the blower and scratch his head?

Well it's already 2 different shades of yellow from the previous owner, lol I took it to a local shop that deals with older cars, he wants to repair the front of the fender, likes the older heavier duty sheet metal, but we'll have to see what insurance will say.
my other car i take to the gym has been dinged both sides, people just don't care about other peoples cars, sad.

That's why I park my vehicles FAR AWAY as possible.

Mine is full of old guy dents
I can park it anywhere
Till next winter.....then I'll have to bring the cones and caution tape

Todays plan is to fill my intake with a ton of smoke and make sure it doesn't come out anywhere it shouldn't... then ponder my cam timing and not put stuff back together...
