At least you were out there using the car for what it was designed for. And a stake in the ground to try and improve upon. Good job!!Not my best, 13.28@104 was my best for this weekend.

Even Stevie Wonder can tell the difference.
Doesn't that just grate on you? I have a '73 Duster K-Member and front end under my Dart. So when I buy parts, I have to buy for a '73 Duster. I asked for something from O'Reilly for the '73 Duster; the kid stared at his computer for a few seconds, then looked up and said "Is that a car?"

I directed him to "the book"; that info wasn't on the computer at the time. He got an old guy to help him out. They had the parts. The kid just didn't know it.buy parts from him ?!!!
Same here at the local name brand auto part stores, "What's a Plymouth Duster" or better yet "2-wheel drive or 4-wheel Drive"?Doesn't that just grate on you? Nice! I'll be doing the same this weekend. Old exhaust is off, new muffler hangers in place! Onward!I got the driver side head pipe installed today. TTI pipe fit exactly the way its supposed to...like putting a sock on a rooster's foot! I ended up pulling the torsion bar to be able to get the flange up into position. I'm pleased with the way it all turned out, but MAN, it is congested up in there. The steering arm just barely clears, and the clutch linkage sits right above the pipe. To me, that's a testament to TTI's engineering and manufacturing because at times I looked up in there and said to myself "Aint no way".

This is what you call a dime's worth in a nickle bag.

I'm hoping that the passenger side will be a relative piece-o-cake since I won't have a starter, steering arm, clutch linkage, etc to deal with. I already had a right-angle oil filter adapter, so that won't present a problem.
2 1/2" TTI to the factory 340 manifolds, with DynoMax super Turbo mufflers.I don't blame you. I work at night cause it's been so dang hot. We got a little break from the extreme heat though now.I installed my 67 Barracuda's "new" motor mount brackets, new rubber biscuits, and my "new" k frame. K frame is replacing one with a broken lip at the sway bar mount, and I found out I had one broken motor mount (the rubber part). All the removable metal parts have been blasted and painted with urethane primer and base coat clear coat black. I touched up the engine with some brush on engine paint I got off ebay. How long will it last? Don't know, we'll see.
Still need to replace/rebuild the entire front suspension, change cams and put the motor back together.
Old motor mounts next to freshly cleaned brackets and new mounts. I think they might be on backwards here, can't remember, but I figured them out before bolting them to the motor.

New K frame (haven't cleaned off all the finger prints yet). And I'll spend a little more time on the intake gasket surfaces.

It's only 1:30 now, but I think I'm probably done for the day.
