I’m sitting at my in laws house with my two year old and one month old. Dreaming about even touching a wrench. My cars been neglected for 4 years.

I don't blame you. I work at night cause it's been so dang hot. We got a little break from the extreme heat though now.

I bought a window unit A/C a few years ago, big enough to cool 1800 square feet. Been a lifesaver. Before, several months of the year I just couldn't work in my garage for any length of time without risking heat stroke. Now it's comfortable even in the hottest weather, even though only 3/4 of the roof is insulated, along with the two garage doors. What constrains me now is that I get physically worn out sooner than I used to.

I bolted in the new steering box yesterday, finished tightening a few bolts, and drained the oil. Taking a break today. Will go back at it tomorrow.

And the reason you're doing that is why? Rocker looks solid to me.

My favorite car was this 1962 Chrysler Newport. Keith Black HEMI! Outstanding build. The owner told us the car gets 2 mpg, but it makes it up with "Smiles Per Gallon".

Had my 66 Hemi Satelite on our CPW club annual Poker Ralley.

91 degrees out. My temp gauge only moved at most 3/16” (needle width). I even idled it 2-3 minutes just cause i didn’t want to stop and start it.

The narrow bias ply 7.75 blueline repro tire suck. I was pushing it in corners the tires don’t squeal, they make this gasping sound like a person taking their last breath. Oh well, I kept pushing it.

They have rust decay on the undersides and in the front and are getting replaced along with the quarters and fenders. Want this car (69 Charger) to be solid when I'm done.

Mine has the dumbest door handles on the in side you have to reach around with you right hand behind your left arm to open
And getting in the thing with the top up is quite the challenge dont the English have legs

124 mile round trip. 1/2 tank gas

7:40 am leaving @70 degrees and then 12:54 pm @91 degrees going back home

570mile on 20 gallons with normal speeds of 85mph
Its funny cause when I left it said we were 20miles short of making it just before we got there it said we had an extra 20 miles
I chickened out and filled up with 30 to go
