I know the feeling. My wife has been understanding with letting me fix my projects for multiple days at a time with 2 little kids to watch with the promise that it doesn't happen often. So I was able to get the car running and driving within 2 days. Like I said, nothing crazy, just an oil change and some new gas and it fired right up after needing some cranking love. I've in the past also replaced the rear axle bearings, front forks, and tire on my valkyrie, and did an engine swap on the buell. And no, fixing the daily driver SUV doesn't count as touching a wrench. Aside from the G8, because working on that car was something I actually wanted to do. I'm just mad that I had to do all the deferred maintenance left over from the PO such as replacing the carrier bearing, rear wheel bearing, alternator, HD A/C bracket, rebuild the transmission, new tires and brakes, instead of adding stuff like better rear sound deadening, improving the subs, new wheels, brembo brakes, and ultimately turbocharging it for 600 whp. I did put new struts in it and some lowering springs so that was nice. But I bought the damn thing with a broken spring in the first place.
