LOL Mike, Same here. We have an "arctic cold air front" coming through and we are supposed to get snow flurries mixed with the freezing rain. Seems like its gone from sweating my nuts off working out in the garage to having to turn on the heat when Im out there. What happened to the 50 degree fall weather thats so nice to be out working in?

That what I am saying :thumbrig:
The nice fall nights outside and washing and vacuuming the cars out and
the BBQ grill going and not freeze doing it.:shaking:
Is our world calendar off :scratch:and we are already in to November:study:
Hopefully this path of cold jet streams will move.:-D

Yeah its just so unpredictable from year to year. Over the last 10 years Ive taken the kids trick-or-treating in shorts, winter coats because of snow, and under umbrellas because of rain or even freezing rain. Lately its also just as likely that theres snow on Easter as it is for Christmas. Go figure!

We are gettin 2 degrees and 60mph winds, that should blow some pumkins around!

That is some cold cabin weather pettybludart
Hot cocoa and cards and don't open the door whether :-D
At 2 degrees and 60mph winds the wind chill would be:scratch:
About 30 below 0.:shaking: I guess I better be happy with what I
have here and not complain.:-D Geese that makes you want to go
outside and set and look at the stares.:toothy10: That is freggin cold!!

Weatherman said we're getting 3-4 inches of the white $h*t tonight with winds 20-30 mph. 29 degrees feel like 5!
..dang MeMike, where is the hot co-co? :dontknow:

:coffee:

I always get a kick out of the weather everywhere! It was 12 her yesterday, had 26" on snow 2 weeks ago and the mountain have 11 feet, yes feet not inches since Aug 24th.

OH I am in NW WY near Tellowstone. But we still see 45-52 sometimes for highs. This week looks 12-19 degrees F about normal. I gave al lthose temps in Far, not Cel. Have seen -54 without the windchill just last winter.

Great weather for hunting, drives them out of high country for ya.

take care guys...

PS jealous wish we had a little warmer days a little longer too..

We brought all the plants inside last weekend also. Mowed the grass down short and brought in the water hoses. It's supposed to be back up into the sixties this weekend though.

I wore my long underwear to work yesterday because it was 32 and windy. First time I've worn them in October for a long time. Last night was our first hard freeze of the year, it reached 28 overnight.

Like it or not, winter is coming and the days are getting shorter. Don't forget to set your clocks back this Sunday morning!

Well guys, I'm in central Florida and we're under a FREEZE warning for tonight and tomorrow night.........IN OCTOBER?????!!!!!!!

Dang global warming!!!! :toothy10: :toothy10: :toothy10: :toothy10:

Yep memike, winter is setting in on us....But it has been nice here for the last week, warm in the day time cold at night. Just glad I don't live where it snows a lot. but am not looking forward to the cold wet weather that is for sure

Hey,MeMike no more ice for the(beer)cooler.I,d still like to get out for some walleye fishin.Gonna have to bundle up though.

Well Mike, it was 15 C here yesterday, about 60 F, and it's supposed to get up to 18 C here today, about 68 F. It's been getting down below freezing most nights, but that's O.K. if it warms up during the day. :)

of water one time, But it only went about two lbs,

That sounds like some good weather for yall up there Sid
our highs will hit 52 F. today and sun shine.
I guess I may as well get the closet changed out to my winter digs and get out some today and walk off Friday nights music I got to enjoy.
I am still a bit stoved up from a great evening, And this cold blast has
not made it any easier.
Oh to be young again.

70's during the day here and below freezing at night. Nice sleeping weather!

Mike, Walleye is the best tasting freshwater fish I ever had. It's a pretty big deal in the far northern states to have Friday night fish frys at the local tavern.

That is what I have been told, Walleye is like the number one on the top ten list of fresh water fish to eat, And even better with a cold one =P~

schools are closed here. power was out for about 2 hours, had about 4 inches of wet stuff this morning and they are calling for up to 8 inches. took the day off to stay home with the kids and to relax? I84 was closed in a couple of places too.

From the Weather Network a winter storm watch

The triangle from Ottawa to Brockville to Montreal will see the highest impact from heavy snow tonight. Amounts greater than 15 cm are possible with localized areas approaching 30 cm

Gee and it's not even Halloween?? Sounds like another long winter.:angry7:

As promised Xcptshnl1O:) I got out today and took some pictures to add to this great thread :cheers:I got back home about 3:30 pm.
I had to get out and walk today and look at my Bass ,perce and cat fish
