You'll need the correct 2-bolt adapter to mate a later model aluminum master cylinder for an F-body with manual disc brakes. It still uses the manual brake pushrod. Not sure how or which distribution block fits into the set-up

Converting from drums to disc brakes was best move I made

get one with a bore size below 1" for best pedal and stopping power. I recommend the 15/16
I converted my old Mopars to synthetic DOT5 brake fluid. Does not attack paint.

Wilwood sells a nice one.
Can also buy one for 85 diplomat but that's s crap shoot because a lot of them aren't alum. When I was looking I found one alumn local to me and it was all beat to hell.

Does aluminum not leak? I am going through it now, nice paint on firewall ruined because of old style cast iron MC. The MC isn't that old either.

The cover on the "billet" Willwood m/c leaks around the screws. Those tiny screws are easy to drop/lose. I am replacing mine with a Baer m/c which has normal screw-on caps.

thats a wilwood one in this pic.. it has a different piston size then the billet one you are talking about i believe..

Ah, yes. I forgot Willwood sold those too. My preference was to not have the plastic tank. But you're probably better off with the one you got. The billet one I have s nothing but a pain in the ***!

Dr Diff sells an adapter plate + MC for ~$95. Has been linked several times in the last 2 months if you search. He recently chimed in that his are specially made w/ a smaller bore (7/8"D?) than the similar-looking 1980's Dodge truck MC. Or, for $30 you can buy an adapter plate on ebay from several sellers and use almost any 2-bolt aluminum MC. I use one for a 95-99 Breeze/Cirrus/Sratus w/ ABS (7/8" bore) on my 3 1960's Mopars [two via adapter plates, one on a Breeze booster (see avatar)].
