I had my doubts several times this week but it’s looking good now. Finished up rebuilding the carb today, installed the new seatbelts that came yesterday, set the tire pressures, put the frontend back on, unloaded the barrel of alcohol I bought last night, dewinterized the car trailer and hooked it up, and just loaded up the Duster. I gotta stick to my guns and quit taking on work so close to race season next year. Man this little engine sounds so good.

every time I take this frontend off and on I try to make it easier. Even going back on I have to move and climb up on a milk crate 30-40 times to lower each strap. Well the frontend is the heavy part so I bought a 500 pound winch from Harbor freight that I will mount so I can raise and lower the front with it.

Well I wish I would have had time to wash the duster (can do that at the track ) wash the trailer and truck (car trailer and motorhome will get that next week) and I really like to fire up the two generators I always carry and my quad. I usually have that done so it not a race day job. They can be stubborn first time out.
