Went on a 500 mile road trip to look at a 67 dart gts 383 car. 1 owner. The parents bought the car for the lady when she was 16. 383, auto on floor, red, black interior, console kelsey/hays pdb, 20 yr old paint job. pics below. Only 3 people asked about it and we were the only ones to show up. NO RUST ANYWHERE. New tires, wrong wheels but who cares. Runs, drives and stops. been in heated garage for approx 20 yrs, since paint job. just goes to show that they are still out there and if you don't go look, you might miss on a GEM. The tail panel needs some work, but it will be done soon.

I have told this story before but back in 99 I was visiting my brother in Butte MT. He asked me if I wanted to go to a car show in Anaconda MT ( 20 miles away) . While there I struck up a conversation with a guy that had a V code Challenger. At some point he told me about a local Hemi Charger that he thought the guy might sell . He said it was the original owner that he has known his whole life and in fact he was the Chrysler rep when it was purchased new . At the time I had 3 small kids and assumed it would cost $70k+ so I did not pursue it .
Fast forward 1 year and I was back up there and stopped to visit him …. He had bought the car for $16,700 ! I almost puked when I saw it . 70 Hemi 4sp super track pac car with 30k miles ! One crease in a quarter panel from the combine otherwise mint !

it was on fb a body forum. he had 2 other guys saying they would take it. 1 said as soon as he sold his road runner(ha-ha) and the other 1 said in 2 weeks. we called Thursday and he told us that he would be there Friday after work (drives school bus and deputy sheriff). we told him we would be there 100% for sure. if he wanted earnest money, we would send him some to his bank. he said no. we were in constant touch with him, all day. we left at 645 am yesterday morning, 7hr and 15 min. lost 1 hr due to time zone change, Ill to Ohio. looked, said hell yes and loaded up. back on road in 30 minutes. paid cash. back home by 1015 pm Friday nite.

I knew about the car but didn't have time to check it out, glad you got it! There is another one in Michigan, same color and original paint but had a 68 style stripe painted on it. I see yours had the bottom upholstery on the seat replaced at one point...
