Replacement drums and hubs for 1969 Dart with 5x4.5 lugs?

Anyone found front drums and hubs for a V8 Dart (273) that have the larger lug pattern? I went with the 5x4.5" for the Dana 60 in the back, just want to match it up front, and the Google machine is laying goose eggs for me at the moment (or it might just be me) :).

    Poly engine mounts

I don't want to use solid mounts on my 440 Dart, but I do want much more stable than rubber. I have poly mounts in my '93 Cummins Dodge and they are great, but I haven't been able to find them for the Dart.

Can any of you younger folks read (or good guess) the year on this A833 tag? Buggers screwed right into it! There aren't any stamped '63 for the '64 model year release are there?

    Clutch/Flywheel Questions

I an finishing a 440 build, at least 500 on motor, maybe 150 shot, at least 600 lb/ft, 1969 Dart, will probably end up at about 3,300lbs. Have a Lakewood Scatter shield, 23 spline A833, Dana 60, 4.10 gears with True Track locker. From what I understand, I can use a 130 or 142 tooth flywheel, but...

    23 Spline

Has anyone out there broken a 23 spline input shaft? I would rather not go to the expense of upgrading my trans, but on the other hand I tend to make bad choices with power and torque!

Clutch and flywheel diameter (I know, I know, sorry)

Putting a 440 in my '69 Dart with a Lakewood scatter shield and A833, Dana 60 out back. It will have less than 600hp to the wheels, probably about 600 torque, trying to decide on the proper flywheel and clutch size. Does the Lakewood change anything for ring gear size?

I have a 1969 Dart GT automatic console car. Can I use a 4 speed plate on it and cut out the side for the hump? I have the 4 speed hump to weld in.

    Three spring relocation questions:

    1. When the rear springs are moved inboard does it adversely affect handling? 2. Does relocating the springs buy you any tire width without mini-tubs? 3. If moving the springs inboard causes excessive body roll, could a fat sway bar control that?

Another Factory A-Body Dana 60 width

I'm sorry to ask this because I know it has been asked before and I am just too lame to find it in a search (but I did try). I need to get a Dana 60 for my '69 Dart GT, and I need to know the factory width and if there is any difference needed in width if mini-tubbed? This is the last major...

    Back to the machine shop...

Calculating everything out I realized that my quench area between the quench block on my pistons and the open chamber is .040" without head gasket. I'm looking for .035" with HG, so I have to take the block back in to zero deck it. Crap. Guess I will have to get the intake milled a little also...

    Flywheel/Clutch ideas

Had a 440 with 23 spline A833 and a Lakewood scatter shield going in my '69 Dart. Engine will have probably less than 600HP to the wheels and will be a mostly hot street, occasional strip car. What size flywheel should I get, and how much clutch will I need to close to 600 lb/ft torque?

    Piston weight difference

I am prepping my parts for bob weight calculation to balance my forged crank. Is 1 gram max difference between pistons acceptable for a 440 that probably won't see more than 6k rpm or so, or do I need to zero them out?

440 with a stick and bad judgement

Anyone have a high torque 440 with a stick and bad judgement and sticky tires out there? Trying to make sure a Dana 60 is an absolute must. Had one from the factory in a '68 Hemi Road Runner I owned (and drove irresponsibly) in an earlier life, and it was flawless. My '69 Dart will have less...

    Piston to head quench

Mocking up the 440, measured .042" quench distance between piston top and head (.020" steel shim head gasket included". The pistons are .030" down in the hole at TDC. Should I have .005" or so decked off the block? These are iron heads, hyperutectic pistons with steel rods.

Detailed specifications for the 292 .509" P4120237AE cam

While I am still gathering parts and horsetrading to get my 440 up and running I am punching in the numbers for my engine in Desktop Dyno, and I can't find the detailed cam specs for the old .509 cam. I need valve opening and closing events. Looked in all my ancient Mopar engine manuals and old...

    Volumetric Efficiency

Anyone have a way to guess volumetric efficiency of a 440 with 10.5:1? I know the 426 Hemi I used to have would go over 100% VE, but I have no idea (or even a guess) as to the efficiency of an iron headed, mildly ported, big valve wedge heads. Thoughts, experiences? I guess a dyno sheet would say?

    440 .509 292 Iron head monsters

I have researched the crap out of this combo, and I am continually amazed that a vintage cam design, low flowing iron heads, old school Torker intake and mostly stock bottom end can put you in the low 11's and even 10's in an A-Body (especially with a stick). This is the classic case of the sum...

Cheapest way to get a bellhousing on a 440 Dart

If I don't care about originality, what is the cheapest way to get my A833 mounted behind the 440 in my '69 Dart? I could fab up a hydraulic setup like the one on my 1st Gen Dodge pretty easily if the mechanical linkage is the issue... It's crazy what people want for an original, and the SFI...

    .509 292 108 in 440

I once ran a .509 cam in a Cuda with a 383 at a measured 10.6:1, and once I figured out it needed like 17deg initial but low 30's total it ran like a scalded hog (except below 3k, tight converter).
