from some experience I like both but in this case I would go auto with a manual vb I had a manual vb behind my fist mopar it had a 440 and I loved it stick are fun but after a while in town driving got old so that's my 2 cents

either way 1800 is a decent deal there was a 69 gt in Tacoma wa in the last month or 2 no motor/trans he wanted 2500 it was decent shape. on the 70/71 gt's a lot of them had /6's as mine does and the research I did. Bruce's (R.I.P.) site was the most helpful on that!!!

mine is simple and to the point my dart is a 1971 and its a gt = 7t1gt and im thinking of putting it on my license plate when I put it on the road.

if you peace it together u can find carb at a u pull it yard and some times the intake too and linkage off a truck or car I found a carb at pull & save in spokane wa in a bin that some one just put there with out a care also it's cheap if u can find it a the local u pull it.

me I like bb's I would buy The Schumacher mounts ,headers and freshin up the 440 it should have the forged crank and maybe 915's great for making great power!!! that's my 2 cents. :burnout:
