    68 barracuda 340 dash

No such thing as a "340 Dash". All 68 Barracuda dashes are the same other than option specific differences. A 340 car could have had a dash that was identical to a slant 6 dash.

    Hog Ring Pliers?

You guys can hate on me for this but, skip the hog rings and use zip ties. Zip ties allow you to do the install loosely and take up the slack evenly while making adjustments. This gives a great end result and the zip ties will outlast the new material. Been doing it this way for 30 years on...

    Rollcages and headliners

Fabric headliners are difficult to install correctly, you can spot an amateur install a mile away. A cage will make it even harder.

My 68 Barracuda dash has at least one dimple like that and it is the original. I have Deluxe interior with the burl-wood overlay on top so I don't really know how many are there.

    5 point harness mounting location

5 point harness in a non race car, would just be an unnecessary, pain in the *** . The old school, non-retractable, 3 points (like in my wife's 73) get old. Besides, how will you put the moves on the ladies when you are glued in your seat?

    Quarter window regulator removal?

Yes. You want at least a pounder. A 40zo is preferred. A 12oz beer has no place in this kind of job.

    Quarter window regulator removal?

You need to find the magic spot and have everything lined up just right. Unfortunately, none can describe where that magic spot is. I can tell you this.... If you are getting your *** kicked, you are on the right track. If you have a dog, go yell at it because you are frustrated. Next, if...

    1967-1969 Barracuda Fastback Cargo

I agree. I just went out and had a good look at mine (a 62,000 mile car). It is a fine texture that only camouflages the natural wood-grain but does not fully hide it. For someone restoring one of these my best guess would be to find a light textured paint and use a dry spray stacking...

    .. clear coat / matte finish ..

You can Krylon a dash and achieve a 95% OE finish appearance that will last years. All for that low price of $8.00.... Just stack light and even coats. And.... Who gives a crap if it starts to fade in 3-5 years, spend another 8 bucks and give it a light, fresh, top coat.

    1967-1969 Barracuda Fastback Cargo

It goes under the hinge but I would need to take mine apart to see how far. You are dealing with a reproduction part so it may need to be trimmed. EDIT: I just went and looked. Just roll that carpet over the edge and run the screws through it. The hinge will be the carpet retainer and...

Why is my dusters glove compartment full of water?

Although a common leak area, I don't think it would get in the glove box from there. It's more likely the windshield.

    Re-upholstering seats

It's easy, I have done many. Even the first was simple. But here is a secret...... Do not use hog rings. Use zip-ties. Zip-ties allow you to position and secure everything in place, then you gently and evenly pull everything down tight. The Zip-ties will last for the life of the cover.
