I'm guessing 170 due to the 270 having the dash trim (silver/black) goes all the way across to the pass door with a "270 Dart" emblem. The 170 did not, to my limited knowledge) I'm sure someone more in the know than me will help out too! Sounds like typical condition. I haven't paid over...

X2 checking body grounds & clean/inspect firewall terminal blocks too. X2 wet headlight switch. Please check for front windshield leaks. Spray down with water outside, and look up under dash with flashlight. Better done when inst. cluster is out of car. If leaking, the back of inst cluster...

My 64 Dart had to have the suede paint mixed for the panel with the defroster vents. This paint was touted as a safety feature in 64! In high school in the 70's, I used everything I could think of to shine that stuff up! LOL!!! never could get it shiney, now I know why!8)

Pop the plug on the back, outside, under car, black plastic plug, pop it out, rince out with water, blow dry, let air out a while. Some models had little boards there. I use car towles! Have a good one!8)

I got a 64 dart 273 in it and had to take starter to tranny shop and had them put it in with rear freeze plugs. They dropped the tranny!!!! I tried to drop starter in driveway, I'm no kid, 48 years and have tools to prove it. I couldn't get it out either. If anyone wants pics, I got them...

Move out 1 bolt hole and only use 3 on each side instead of 4. I have built an extension/riser to go into receiver before bike rack, out 1 foot and up 18"! Good Luck..................See pics on other thread.
