I put one off a 69 Cuda on my 66 Dart. It doesn't say fuel on it so not too sure if it was orginal or not... Any way what you need to do is just make a couple cuts where the hinge and latch are. bend the metal in and that will give you the room you need. Then take your filler tube and install...

I believe the filler tube should go on the inside. I know that is the way it was on my 66 Dart up till I put the flip gas cap on, then i had to put it in from the out side for the spacing I needed for it.

orbal sander would be the best and then you will need a paint gun to spay eithter an epoxy primer or an itching prime to protect it

I think it is the same from the wheel wheel to the rear bumper. Just measure everything and see. that would be the best way to tell.
