My vote is for the 318 with a cheap stroker kit for torque. Of course I'm biased as I have a stroker smallblock with over 500ft;lbs of torque!

If I had the funds I'd get an older SRT8 Jeep. The newer model has a more powerful engine but it's much heavier and is no faster. Doesn't look as good either. I've seen a few on Ebay for $20K-$30K. Then I'd drop a supercharger on that bad boy!
