    What's more bad *** than a Mopar?

Dennis Hopper on a rigid frame pan head with drag bars! I just watched Easy Rider. I'm pumped up! Captain America is cool, but there is nothing cooler than that bike that Dennis Hopper rode in the movie. Old school, skinny tired chopper. Cool! WAY COOL!

    Non-Technical oil pan question

Is there a specific oil pan that I need to purchase / be on the lookout for, for a 360 that will be going in a '73 Duster?

My Ram needs new shocks, help?

My '04 Ram 4X4 Off Road needs new shocks. I don't carry heavy loads in the bed and about the heaviest thing I would pull is the car trailer with my Oldsmobile or my son's Duster on it. Any recommendations?

    Champaign/Urbana, Illinois area members.....

I know there are a few on here. Can anyone in the Champaign/Urbana, Illinois area recommend a good body man? I got a serious rust problem developing on my 32K original mile '73 Cutlass Supreme. Any recommendations?

I will ask my partners in crime on here!

I feel that I know the collective of persons that post on here through viewing their posts and projects. And I have picked up so much information and you all have spoon fed me through my father / son project as I wasn't an A Body guy to start with, but you all have converted me and INSPIRED me...

    Mopar Performance ?'s

Sooooo...........GM performance offers their 350 performance bare blocks and associated parts all day long. Why doesn't Mopar offer the popular 340 block?

    Deceptive tactics!

I ONLY joined this site to educate myself about the A Body because my 15 year old chose a '73 Duster as a father / son / "first car" project. I searched the internet and found the A Bodies Only site. Since I have joined I have learned a considerable amount about this cheaply built, yet highly...

    K Member is refinished (Por-15).

Last week we sand blasted the K Member, some other parts and the engine compartment. This week I applied the Por-15 system of coatings and I must say that I am very happy with the results that we got. The first 3 pics are of the Por-15 rust preventative paint. The last 3 have been primed with...

    Grandma checking in!

We went to my brothers today to work on Project Deeds. Got alot done (see Members Restoration). Low and behold my grandma stopped by to check on us and she brought us lunch! She even posed for us by Project Deeds. She had a '73 340/auto car back in the day. She said "You got a long way to go boys!"

My 15 year old is making me old(er)!

After months of ](*,) and alot of :violent1: my 15 year old has decided that dad is right and he should go with an auto tranny in his project '73 Duster due to $$$ constraints on his part to wanting a 4spd tranny and manual steering. So, from the parts car we have agreed that we are going to use...

    Torsion bar rubber boots?

I can't find these on rockauto. Anyone know where I can get them? The rubber boots or bellows that are on the torsion bars? They are on the crossmember end of the torsion bar.

Omg! Omg! Omg! Did you feel that?

THE EARTH HAS SKIPPED A BEAT IN IT'S ROTATION! My 15 year old has FINALLY narrowed it down to 3 color choices for his '73 Duster! And just in time! We are dropping the K Member this weekend for the suspension rebuild and final clean up of the engine bay for prep and paint. We all say that girls...

    Blacked out hoods?

I really dig the blacked out hood look on the 70's Duster, but it's obvious that there are several variations out there as to how this is done. #1 Black out most of the hood (with whatever combination of scoop) all the way back to the windshield, but the outer left and right sides of the hood...

    Z Bar removal tips?

Trying to scavenge all the 4spd related goodies from the /6 3Spd car before it goes to the crusher. The /6 and 3 spd are still in the car and will most likely remain unless someone wants to come take it out. Got the Z Bar unbolted on the tranny side, but am having one hell of a time getting it...

    Deed's Birthday

So, by next month we will be at a point in the progress with Project Deed's that the engine bay will be prepped for paint (pictures to come in the member restoration section). So what better time to replace the front suspension components as it will coincide with Deed's BDay? What self...

Swapping dashes and VIN tag ?

The dash in our project Duster (340/Auto car) looks like it was the victim of a violent radio jacking. The metal is peeled back and ripped in several spots. The dash in our donor Duster (/6 / 3spd car) is perfect. I want to put the donor dash in the project car. Do I just drill out the VIN Tag...

    '73 Duster engine bay pics.

We might be a little ahead of ourselves as far as Project Deed's goes, but we would like to see some pics of original, restored, or customized engine compartments of '73 Dusters. The plan for the engine compartment is "as clean as we can make it." The KISS principle.
