thanks guys. the mad max scoop fits. i wanted something different, and when i saw it, i just had to have it. its slowly coming together.
 
well here are a few pics of my new gauges mounted up. i added a boost gauge, and a wideband air/fuel gauge. im hoping that one will help me with tuning. i also got my new head gasket which i hope to install this weekend.

well i finally fired it up today, other things came up and i didnt work on the wagon for a while. but it started up without a problem, now i just need to finish the brakes and tune it. hopefully there wont be too many bugs to work out.

i know i know. when i worked at the motorcycle shop i told everyone the same thing. they wont let you race in an afm class on a motorcycle with a fram filter. i was just going to use it for the break in. but the more i think about it the more i think i should change it. especially on the break in. next picture you see there will be no fram.

what do you guys mean by fram filter, ?, and our slants over here have the oil filter on the other side as a remote mounted filter, of memory I think was to clear the steering box for rh drive
