Thanks sleepyhead. I finished welding in the tunnel yesterday .
Today I will seam seal and top coat it with black.

I finely got the consol fit. Fits prity well .
Next I will install trany and modify clutch peddle for Tillman hydrolic clutch master.

Cut brackets shorter. Left room for carpet and sound pad.

I mounted the pedal assembly and used a paper templet to determine bracket location
For clutch master .

That tunnel looks great! Will shifter be centered in console top plate?

The best spot for bracket places the hole for master
Right over the rib in firewall .im going to flatten
Out the rib.

Phenomenal work! Just read your entire thread. For color, I would go with gunmetal grey with a little flake, and then maybe some ghost stripes??

To relive the area for re shaping with a torch

Clamps helped hold new bracket from moving
While heating and hammering area. You can see
The area heated by the burned paint.

Wire brushed. Welded up slit . Ground down
And brushed. Fit checked and heated again
And finished shaping .
