Got the Cuda moved to my son's place to get ready for undercoating. We got the doors, fenders, hood and grill parts installed and aligned. Foe some reason, the splash shields were a #$%^& to install, but finally got them in OK.

Installing door handles with Dynamic Renovations reinforcing plate. Will use their plates on the mirrors as well.

This “authentic” repro starter splash shield says it fits 67-72 A-Bodies - NOT!
The upper one is for A bodies and not reproduced. I’ve been able to find a couple of good used ones.

Hopefully AMD will refund / credit for incorrect items. You should send them pictures you posted here and "maybe" they'll actually re-produce an accurate part. Bummer, at least you were able to locate a good used one.

Undercoating finished. A messy job!!! (The fuel tank was on the car when the factory optional full undercoating was applied and there should be overspray on it) Exhaust going in next.

Yes, the instructions say to let it get tacky. I was rushing a bit, so didnt wait that long!

Jim, my cuda was factory undercoated and the gas tank was completely undercoated as well. Same thing with my 66 Charger. Just an observation.

Seemed to be very variable and depended on the poor guy who was in the pit shooting undercoat!! I've seen some tanks with a lot of undercoat like you have seen and others with very little.

Same with my 68 Barracuda.Gas tank was completely covered. May have been a dealer installed option as I've seen others that had very little coating.

Some things you just can't do Jim... I'm still waiting for stone chips on the Bee before I'll even spray the wheel wells !!

Beautiful work that you are doing there, regarding the third member paint daubs, would you happen to know what color would designate a 3.55 gear ratio? and what about the rear spring paint daubs, can you explain those also? keep up the beautiful work and thanks for sharing..Rich
