'67 Barracuda finally has paint!

We finally got the motor in today. I highly recommend installing it from underneath, although lifting the front end of the car up was nerve-wracking. There's still a lot of little things to do, but it's a great feeling to get this far.

It's finally on the ground and out of the garage for its maiden voyage. No windshield yet, so it was a slow drive around the neighborhood. It was a success overall - I need to change the master cylinder and the Borla mufflers are VERY loud - but it sounds great and has severe traction problems \\/

Thanks man! Pretty sure you can install the engine and trans like that on any A-body. Color is Lexus Matador Red Mica. It's a three stage paint and therefore a pain to spray, but it really looks good in the sun.

The wheels are 17x11 rear and 16x7 front. They are polished Torque Thrust II. Thanks for the compliment!

Great car! Great thread! Yes, all A bodies can take a drive line that way, I always do it from underneath as I despise removing hoods !

What did you do for the front tire size?

They're 225/50-16. No rubbing, but it's a bit close to the front edge of the fender on a tight turn.
