I thank after mini tub and spring relocation I could have put a 15x12 with 7.1/2 back spacing with no troubles . All cars are slightly deferent tho so puts the rear under the car and do lots of measuring before pulling the trigger

This is what I am hoping. I believe I might be able to fit what you just stated, but it's the tire I am worried about because if the backspace is 7.5 that subtracted from the 13.20 tire leaves 5.7. This 5.7 is what will be from the drum face to the wheel well lip. With a A body rear the distance from the drum face to the start of the lip I believe is 5 inches? Correct me if I am wrong because mine with a B body rear is 4 inches. So if I am correct this means with a A body rear that the tire will be .7 further past the start of the lip. You could roll the lip and work, but you would not be able to lower the back much at all. So it would be best to possibly shorten the rear 1 inch on each side making the rear 50 inches. This would make the clearance from the drum face to the wheel well lip 6 inches and rolling it would give almost 1/2 inch. At this point is when I am worried if I will be too close to the frame or springs after the mini tub because I would be an inch closer to the frame at 50 inches overall instead of the 52 stock length.

I can't clearly read the measurements. Can you? And the one from the lip to the front of the wheel? Is that the outside of the lip or the start of the lip? Thank You!

The first is From the outer lip of the quarter panel and reads little over 2 inches and the second pic is from the frame rail to the back of the rim and reads 3 1/4

Thank you. That helps a little, but you are using 10.5s now with 315s correct? Do you think when you get some free time you could do similar measurements but from the sidewalls of the tires?

Hi mopoisbest, You have a very cool build! Im looking forward to seeing the end result. My favorite part is the roll cage, it just looks awsumm with the instrument panel you have in the dash. Looks real racey. Curently im looking for a duster project, but for now im enjoying reading and following the forums.

just a little update of what's been going on . rebuilt the car trailer so that I could haul all my cars to the Kansas hwy patrol to get them inspected for antique titles. ended up getting a new vin tag for my 70 they said that it couldn't be tagged as a antique because all the mods I done so it had to be tagged as a assembled vehicle so it was titled as a 2014 Plymouth duster but was able to get antique tags on the 73 satellite ,the 75 duster custom and the 74 dart. so that's all done .and im building a 20x24 shop behind the house so I can bring the cars home. and my oldest girl 19 moved out and is Prego my 16 year old girl graduated a year early so happy for both of them my son will start high school this year so life is very busy rite now and nothing going on with the car as soon as the shop is done I will get back to the build all she is lacking is body work and paint
