Pick these wheels up today I like the way they look and fit. But I thank after I melt these back tires down I will get some that are a little taller to fit the wheel wells . But for $550. For the set I couldn't pass them up they are 315/45/17 rear and 225/45r17

whats the back spacing on your wheels. the car looks great brother.:burnout:

REAR WHEELS: 17X10.5, +27mm offset, 6.82" Backspace. FRONT WHEELS: 17X9, +24mm offset, 5.95" Backspace

Tri y headers vs tti headers . So I ordered 3inch exhaust for my duster I get the header flanges for my tri-y headers out to find they only have 2 1/2 inch collectors . So I'm standing there thanking wtf . Now I'm understanding why its better to research everything to the fullest before pulling the trigger on any thing that cost more than 200.00 so now I'm thanking about buying the tti 2 inch tube 3 1/2 inch collector . What do you all thank ?

Your beast looks awesome!
Your an inspiration to me for my build in progress.
I'm building a 67 Barracuda fast back with my 15 year old son. Hope he lets me drive it when we are done. Probably another year or two. Money is always the big hurdle.
You are doing a realy nice job...

Do you have a build thread on here ? I would like to see your car, You can post a pic here if you want my son is 13 we have been working on are car for 4 years . And I will second the money being a hurdle

Yes, I have a few threads on here. The one from today is titled 67 cuda fastback update. Right under your last post under restoration projects.

SO, what's happening with the Duster?
Any thing to update on?
I'm all over your build and hope to see you make good progress. Your light years ahead of me, but it is inspiration.

I dont have tires yet not even sure what size to get . as you can see i could probly put some tall tires with no probems and maybe lower the rear of the car some The front measurement is from inner lip of the wheel well

What is the length of your rear end? I noticed you just got 315s on. I was thinking of putting 18x12s on with 13.20 inch wide tire. But wanted to see if they would work without changing the backspace of the wheel but if I had to I would cut the rear to make up for the need of more backspace. The issue is I don't know at what point I would hit the frame with 13.20 wide tires.

I have the stock length 8.75 , car has been mini tubed and spring relocation .

How much room do you have left from the edge of the sidewall to the frame? And how much lower could you lower it before it hits the small bulge on the outside wheel well?
