Anyone do this? I have a new Booster Dewey restored unit and some initial fitting before I stripped it down for blasting seems to indicate the '73 booster is going to hit the valve cover.
The pre-73 brake booster fits well. Does need minor linkage modification to work in an early A body.

On my 1965 Dart, I used a ~1999 Intrepid booster on 1974 Dart stand-off brackets. I had to angle it slightly upward with nuts on the mounting bolts to clear the left valve cover on my 273 engine (avatar), but I do have perhaps taller aftermarket valve covers. You could likely do the same with a 1973 Dart booster. I think the correct 1965 booster was a smaller diameter and longer one with dual diaphragms. I later got one but haven't fooled with it.
