Trizact

Loaded up a bunch of parts to bring to the shop. More room to work there then in my garage !

looks amazing ...I love that color of green ....glad you kept it and went for the finish line ....this project is seeing that checkered flag that so many project never get to :thumblef:

what color of stripes and are you doing the classic duster style stripe with the one on the tail panel ?

Having the car at my shop is a real distraction. Havent had anytime to wet sand and buff it yet but I did get a few small things done, Blacked out the radiator support, new grill and headlight hardware, Fuel filler tube is back in, Trim rings on the rallys, Roof rail trim in and 1/4 windows installed.

Yep, looks really nice. I imagine after the polish it will be even better!

Just throwing this out there - have you thought about ditching the trim around the tail lights? The car below also has an earlier bumper on it which tucks in closer to the body. Gives the later Dusters a clean look.

To late for that now without redoing the tail panel. You would have to fill in the holes and weld some studs on the inside of the tail panel to mount the lights.

Aaahhh, I thought that might be the case but I wasn't sure.

Next time!

Okay then, I guess I'll wait till tomorrow but I do't see why you can't work throughout the night and get it buffed out and the stripe applied. There's lots of us watching with envy and anticipation.

I cant wait to see it in the sun again all buffed out.. Thats one pretty shade of green
