Is it just me, or do the people on this site seem more humble, and polite? When looking at other sites, even Mopar sites, a lot of owners seem to be rude, and holier than thou. We seem to be the easy going, cool, and humble group. Do you think that is why we are so successful? We even take a ribbing better than most on other sites. Thanks guys....and gals.

true words - also on meetings (i can only speak for German ones) you can also see that a-body-guys are more "comfortable" than e-body drivers (that´s my opinion:bootysha:)

therefore - abody rules nothing more to add

LOL, that's why I keep coming back here.
Got the A Body Bug at age of 16 in 1974 when my Dad let me learn how to drive in our 1970 Hemi Orange Dart Swinger 340 4bbl. Talk about being spoiled and ruined in how I viewed vehicle performance.
Finally had my Mid-Life Crisis and purchased the Bright Blue Metallic B5 Dart on the left two Summers ago on eBay from an owner out of Texas.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it...
I thoroughly enjoy visiting the site and chatting with y'all, Gentlemen.

so true!!

I think there is just some good people on this board that set the tone.
It is a very EZ going group here. The mod's do a good job too. We are all car people just haveing a good old time.

I am an active member of several boards and this one is very friendly.

Sometimes I don't get the for sale section comments, but that is a minor issue.

Awesome board overall and I have sent several people to it.

I will have to agree, this is the most friendly site out there. One of the main reason this is the only site I come to daily. Got some great down to earth people on here.

This site and http://www.abodyjoe.com are without a doubt the best car sites on the web for people interacting ..........

I was just saying this same thing to a chebbie owner the other day, a body people will go out of there way to help you out,I have seen guys(abody) who never meet loan engines before ! Now thats some thing !!

when you go to a track you can always go up to a mopar guy and start talking and you will be there for ever and have a new friend,,, try doing that with a camaro owner ,even if you had a camaro also!! LOL

Thats what makes MOPAR special , the cars the people all are the best !!

at least the folks i chat with all the time here.We may have a difference of opinion once in a while, and get peeved at each other sometimes, but its seems we always wrok it out,and move on like brothers and sisters,is the best way i can explain it.I guess thats why im on here so much of the time, lol.

I think that the site doubled its coolness when I signed on!! I could be wrong though, it may have trippled, who knows?

Have noticed alot of disrespect with cars for sale ads though.

It's one thing to be helpful by suggesting the seller give more information, but hijacking the threads with rude comments is just plain uncalled for.

Granted, some sellers come here to post ad's for sale and have attitude, in that case give them some advice, but I feel bad for some of the guys who are trying to sell a car and some jackazz gives them a hard time about it like it's some kind of personal opinion poll.

That's one thing I like about Moparts, sorry.
They have ad after ad, with all the sellers information about the ad and contact information.
No replies or comments are allowed or the mods will delete them.
That keeps the ad cut and dry, take it or leave it.
Respond to the seller via P/M, email, or phone.
This eliminates the need for personal opinion or philosophy lessons from the self absorbed know it alls.
The next guy that want's to place an ad hits (reply) and leaves his ad next in line.

On the other hand, it allows people to broaden their knowledge about prices, and demand for certain models. Almost like a body guard for buyers. It does certainly make a seller work for their money, I consider that a good thing. Most people who go overboard when critisizing an ad, usually have no interest,no money, no manners.

I've spent time on the Moparts and BigBlockDart sites and have noticed inhospitable remarks on both and some downright holyier than thou BS. I've even launched a few questions and seems the most knowledgable and friendliest advice have come from people who just so happen to frequent FABO. Go figure.

Nobody around here has said anything froggy or angry at me yet... so why would I be that way to anybody else :wav: Seems like some good 'ole boys and girls here from what I've seen.

After reading all that you fine folks have done for memike, I'd say y'all stand head and shoulders above the rest. Everyone here is truely a class act all the way. I'm proud to finally be onboard this terrific site.

GROUP HUG!!!!:king::drinkers::drinkers::drinkers::

seriously though, it is a damn good site and with alot of helpful people. I would not have been able to get anywhere close to where I am with my early a without these guys and gals. And soon I will be asking a bunch more since I just yanked the 318 out of the swinger.

I`ve found the A-body people more approachable at shows and more willing to chew the fat. People here are humble and all share an interest in helping their fellow A body buds. This site hosts the greatest collection of Mopar enthusiasts around, hands down. I`m proud to be a part of this group.

Being fairly new to A-bodies, when I joined almost a month ago I spent A LOT of time reading old posts learning more and more each time. From my perspective what makes this site so amazing are the people. The willingness to share experiences (good and bad). The patience and understanding to walk someone through an issue even when it might not seem that hard to understand to others. The passion that most feel for what we are all doing to preserve our own little piece of the Mopar history. And then there are the times that we share in each others personal lives through posts. Whether it be a new child/grandchild, a new pet, or a tragic event in one of our lives. The support goes beyond our cars and that just shows that for some reason we have all found this place to help one another no matter what the subject may be. I came here looking for "tips" on my project and maybe a few parts. I have found that an also an AWESOME group of people that I feel EXTREMELY lucky to have come across and look forward to meeting at numerous events when my Cuda can roll the streets again next spring. Thanks to all!!!!

What more can I say this is a great group of gals/guys here. In the last 6 years that my car has been parked I have thought about getting rid of it, or passing it on to someone else. All I have to do is come on here and just start reading and my interest and passion for my Valiant are all renewed.

I have also found that the A-body guys on the hole are more open. All you have to do is walk up to them at the local Tim Hortons (donut shop for the US guys/gals) and you both walk away a couple of hours later, or when the wives walk up pissed becauce you have been to long.

Thanks everyone you are all a great bunch of guys.
