A friend in High School had a nice yellow Fairlane GT 390/4speed (the GTA's were automatics)
I waxed him easily with my 69 383/auto Road Runner.

Back in the day I worked with a gal who owned a Gremlin X. She and her boyfriend put headers, an Offy manifold, and a small Holley on it. She raced the the parts manager in his Porsche 914-6 down Stevens Creek Blvd in Cupertino and dusted him. Cool!

I've been browsing around Washington for a Dodge a-100 van/truck or similar ford economize truck. Ugly to some, but I grew up playing with toy trucks that looked just like them! A Chevy snub nose would be a cool toy hauler too...

I love those. Look at it. They were DIRECTLY going after the early Mustang fastback crowd. It has some of the same styling cues.
