My Dad passed away this morning.Hospital called about 7 a.m. and said I needed to get there asap. I found out they do not tell you over the phone.Once I got there they told me he died in the night. He was my hero and my role model, the smartest man I ever knew.Could fix anything.Damn, this is hard! He was 90 years young. The pic is from only 2 weeks ago.A happier time you can see. Keep telling her ya love her ramcharger/joe.

There is nothing anyone can say now to ease the pain but be assured that a future memory of his smile will bring one to you.
Deepest sympathy.

Sorry to hear of the loss of your dad, it's never easy no matter how long of a life they had. My prayers are with you and your family

Sorry to hear of your loss Dreno.....just try to hang in there. I know the feeling and it's hard. I'm sure he's smilin' down on you right now, though. Don't forget the good times and all the great memories. Just thinking of my Dad gets me all misty-eyed......and he passed nearly 10 years ago. Since I can't pick up the phone and talk to him anymore, I talk to him in my car on the way to work.

On a lighter note......hey man your Dad had more hair than me!!!......dang it!

So sorry to hear of your loss. Cherish all the memories you have of everything you and your Dad did over the years. Remember all of the good times. It's always tough to lose a parent.
I can only imagine the amount of memories you must have. I lost my dad when I was 7 years old. that was over 50 years ago, but I still remember the camping and mountain fishing vacations.

My deepest regrets for you and you're family. My Dad and I went to the Chrysler Classic at Norwalk and had a great time. I know he won't be here forever. You're putting things in perspective. Don't sweat the small things and spend as much time as you can with the ones you love and look up to.

Loosing your father is a hard time to deal with:pale:
I counted all my blessings and wisdom a father give's to a son.
My condolences DRENO :sad5:
I hope I am remembered as half the man your father sounds like he was.
I bet he was very proud of you and the time he was gave here on this ball we all live on.
My prayers to you bud and all your family and friends
Stand tall for your folks and be proud he was your father :angel2:

Your Arkansas friend Mike.

I am sorry to hear about your loss.
I am sure this is not an easy thing for you and your family to go through.

Keep him in your thoughts and don't let the memories fade.

Good luck and take care.

Sorry to hear the sad news. I lost my dad a little over a year ago. It was tough but with the love and concern of family and friends (including FABO) I made it through. God Bless you and your family. toolmanmike
