after giving one away 2 races ago. went all rookie in the finals 2 races ago by taking too much finish line after killing the guy on the tree. broke out by .002, and had plenty of room.

the next week I lost at 3 cars.

however, this week was a different story. the air changed over 1,000 ft from the start of the race until the finals, and my car only changed ET by 2 hundredths all day on the E85.

glad to break the ice with the new car.

408 engine with IMM prepped RHS heads, and a solid roller camshaft.

powerglide trans with a brake and an electric shifter.

super stock springs with extra clamps on the front segments and a 29.5x9 slick.

it was pretty good on 110 race gas but once I put it on E85 and got it tuned...it became deadly. car runs 6.80's with this combo.

if a driver has the skill to stage his car the same every time, and the shift points hit there mark every time.....I think E85 becomes the difference maker.

car is so easy to dial on E85.

forgot to ad that I was the only Mopar in the field!
 
congrats on the win & nice to be the only Mopar there to watch them go home with their tails between their legs.

Cool deal...... but ONLY mopar??? that's so sad in so many ways....
