Just getting started on a 69 Dart Custom. Your project is an inspiration. Going to the shop now...

Thanks Idaho ,Feels like a curse more than a project some times lol but i love it . Good luck with your project!

Here's some pics of me working on the trunk floor .I fit the pan int the car where i was happy and then traced around the frame rails with a pencil .I then slipped it over the old floor pan and marked where all the old spot welds where to make it as close as possible the way Chrysler did it :glasses7:.I then drilled 5/16 holes for plug welds. The AMD trunk floor is nice but its pretty much designed for the 70's up darts. the hole for the gas tank filler tube is not correct for 67-69. I made a patch from my old floor and welded it up. Not perfect but it will work  .There are a lot of spot welds holding that floor in! I also plug welded in the gas tank strap bracket.

Nice work. Tedious stuff but it will be worth it. I'm envious of your deep C clamp :)

Thanks! Got the c clamp at harbor freight for 10 bucks. Had to search through a pile of them to find one that wasn't crooked lol. It does the job.

i sandblasted and etch primed my tail panel the other day. i wanna screw the whole back end together before a weld to make sure all the gaps are good.

After a long break I'm working on the Dart again . I decided to leave the trunk floor out for the time being to make it easier to do some other repairs. I did some metal fab and repaired some rust on the right inner wheel well.

Great to see your still into the project, after 2 years, some would lose interest.

I've owned the car for 20 years so 2 years is small in comparison lol! Life happens. I have lots of good plans for it this spring and summer and lots of parts waiting to be installed .

Been working on my rusty window channels. Vinyl tops look great on old Mopars but they sure do cause a lot of rust!
